Sell Gold Bullion in Kansas City

    Gold Bars We Buy

We buy gold bars and ingots from every major refiner in every standard size. This includes bars from PAMP Suisse, Credit Suisse, Valcambi, Perth Mint, Royal Canadian Mint, Engelhard, Johnson Matthey, Metalor, Heraeus, and Argor-Heraeus. We accept bars ranging from 1 gram to 1 kilogram.

Bars still sealed in their original assay card with a matching serial number are preferred, but we also buy bars that have been removed from packaging. If you are unsure about authenticity, bring it in and we will verify it using an XRF spectrometer and a Sigma Metalytics precious metals verifier. Both tests are non-destructive and take only seconds.

We also buy private mint gold bars and older poured bars from refiners no longer in production, such as Engelhard and Johnson Matthey. These bars can carry collector premiums above melt value, and we pay accordingly.

    Gold Bullion Coins We Buy

Beyond bars, we buy government-issued gold bullion coins from every major sovereign mint. American Gold Eagles, American Gold Buffalos, Canadian Gold Maple Leafs, South African Krugerrands, Austrian Philharmonics, Australian Kangaroos, British Britannias, and Chinese Gold Pandas are all purchased at competitive rates based on live spot pricing.

Fractional gold coins (1/2 oz, 1/4 oz, 1/10 oz) carry slightly higher premiums per ounce due to smaller size and higher manufacturing costs. We pay those premiums when we buy. Coins still in original mint tubes, rolls, or monster boxes can often bring a slightly better per-coin price than loose individual pieces. Proof gold coins with original government packaging and certificates may carry additional premiums depending on issue and year.

    How Gold Bullion Is Priced

Gold bullion is priced based on the current spot price of gold plus or minus a dealer spread. When you sell gold bullion to us, we pay a percentage of the live spot price that reflects current market conditions, the product type, and the quantity.

Standard 1 oz gold bars and coins from recognized mints trade at the tightest spreads. Smaller sizes and less common products typically have wider spreads. Very large bars (10 oz, 1 kilo) can trade at tighter spreads per ounce because of their efficiency.

We show you the live spot price at the time of your visit and explain exactly how our offer relates to it. No hidden fees, no assay charges, no deductions. The number we quote is the number you receive.

    Selling a Large Gold Position

If you hold 10 or more ounces of gold bullion and are considering liquidating all or part of your position, call us at 816-439-4653 to schedule your appointment. For larger transactions, we can discuss wire transfer payment and in some cases offer better pricing.

We understand that selling a large gold position is a major financial decision. We do not pressure anyone to sell. We provide the information you need to make an informed choice, including how our pricing compares to online dealer buy-back prices, and we let you decide on your own timeline.

For transactions above certain thresholds, federal reporting requirements may apply. We explain these requirements in advance so there are no surprises.
